Key West: July 3

Although we did the Duval Crawl Friday, it paled in comparison to Saturday’s effort. After Kahlua coffee on the boat, we showered and headed to our favorite bottomless mimosa breakfast.

After breakfast, we went by 801 Bourbon Bar and had beer. Then on to The Flying Monkey for frozen daiquiris.

There are chickens and chicks EVERYWHERE.

Peanut and Gaffer spent the day resting in order to keep us awake all night.

We caught the shuttle back to the boat, gathered David’s belongings and headed back to continue the Crawl until the ferry to Ft. Myers.

David opted for a drink called a “Bucket Of Love” featuring five rums and who really cares what else. In retrospect, food may have been a better choice. Everything after that is a little fuzzy. I imagine the bucket comes in handy for the less seasoned drinkers but we are trained professionals.

We made it back to the ferry where they were waiting for David. He and his bucket climbed the stairs and he was on his way home.

  1. Sounds like you guys showed David a great time. Bucket of rum sounds like a perfect way to end the day
