Key West: The Finale

I am thankful Debbie won’t boat in total darkness.

We left Cocoa Village before the sun was up.

While Debbie drove the final 60 miles in the ICW, the cats helped me strip the beds and gather belongings.

We had to go particularly slowly in Haulover Canal because of all of the manatees. Then there was a 40 minute no wake zone from Mosquito Lagoon to Edgewater.

As we approached the drawbridge in New Smyrna Beach, JoAn and Bonnie waved from the shoreline-poetic since JoAn was there for the send off.

We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to travel. The weather was fabulous and we learned a lot about the boat.

Cattitude is tied to Yonna and Jay’s dock and while we unloaded, Yonna made dinner for us. No other marinas did that for us!

Gaffer and Peanut are racing around the house and Debbie is busy unpacking and doing laundry. I suppose I should help. Thanks for joining us on our journey!
