Key West: June 15

 It’s my birthday!

I have been researching for days what we would do. We started with Eggs Benedict andBOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS at Ocean Grill and Bar.  

The cups were bigger than the water glasses!

Then we biked to Publix and picked up my birthday cake! In a rain storm!

When it let up a bit, we rode home and took a “nap.”

Then we had drinks in the flybridge. While we were in the flybridge, one of the cats stepped into the cake…  we are not sure which one.

 

So then we went to dinner at the hotel adjacent to our marina. While we chatted with a fellow boater, more of the cake was molested. There were footprints leading away from the crime scene. Pretty soon there will be a chalk outline of a CAT.

Tonight I will not need to watch NCIS.

Despite the cake, everything was fabulous,  had a great day and appreciate the birthday wishes!
