Key West: June 24

 Robin and Cat left at the crack of 10 this morning. Deb and I were supposed to jog but it didn’t happen. Cat went to the gym to make us feel bad. 

Robin and Gaffer have a relationship that merits concern. 

After they left, we did some laundry and went about the task of troubleshooting a leak that had been dripping on the girls’ bed!  They were reluctant to criticize their accommodations but we noticed them donning their snorkel gear each night before heading to bed.

We thought we had resolved the leaks on that side by re-caulking the boat. It solved many of the other leaks. But both kitchen sinks and the refrigerator plumbing run above that bed.

 

What we found was surprising. It was actually the condensation from the freezer forming ice along the line then thawing over the bed. CLEARLY they did not have the AC set low enough or nothing would have thawed!!!

With the problem identified, we immediately jumped in the tender Furball and headed to the sandbar with a full cooler.
