Key Weat:June 8
It all started with Peanut announcing to Debbie around 5 am that the food was gone. She got up and I slept for another hour.
Our hour long jog started around 7:30 am. I would like to buy some “jog assist” shoes that will still cover ground when I can’t go any more.
Then we biked to Home Depot, the pet store and then Publix. We recharged the bikes and then made lunch.
The afternoon was reserved for heading into Key West! My favorite!!! We biked to Fat Tuesday’s and had a drink with a floater. Prices have skyrocketed.
Then we went down Duval to the Galleon where the bartender recognized us! Is that good?!?!
On our way home, we stopped by the hurricane Hole and said hello to our charter friend then on to the boat. The cats seemed bored so we grabbed beers and cats and went upstairs. This TOTALLY freaked out Peanut so we all went inside to cook dinner.
Tomorrow we are headed out in our dinghy Furball. That should be some fun! Miss you all!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day in many ways. And the answer is yes, it is a proud moment that the bartender remembered you and was happy to see you. We are all remembered but how we are remembered is the important thing 🤣🤣. Have fun in Furball today.
