Day Five: The Perfect Storm

We overnighted at at Marina called Osprey Marina in Surfside south of Myrtle Beach. We decided to forego the early morning start and wait out a line of storms approaching. Debbie’s work taping up the hatch must’ve worked since no water dripped from the ceiling. Debbie got a close look at the ceiling when I pounced into bed and the air mattress catapulted her into the air! This is our redneck Sleep Number.

After the line of storms passed, we made our way to Georgetown, SC, the third oldest city in South Carolina. We walked into town and had a few brews at the Winyah Bay Brewery at Buzz’s Roost! Highly recommended.

Tomorrow we head to Charleston!
